Oliver Mead is developing his career in financial planning and is currently working towards his CII qualifications. He graduated from Cardiff University with a degree in Banking and Finance, which gave him a strong foundation in financial markets, banking and the wider financial services industry.
During his year in industry, Oliver gained experience working with clients across the globe, particularly in the UK and US. That experience helped him understand how people’s circumstances, priorities and expectations can differ. He brings that perspective to his work at Humboldt Financial as he continues to build his knowledge.
Oliver is interested in the personal side of financial planning: understanding what matters to someone before considering the options available to them. He enjoys learning from colleagues and developing the skills to support clients with clear, thoughtful guidance throughout their financial journey.
Outside work, Oliver plays football at the weekends and supports Watford. He also enjoys spending time with friends, going out for coffee and taking his dog for walks.
