Meet Prakash Thaker!

As a paraplanner, I play a key role in supporting financial advisers by turning strategy into actionable, client-focused advice. My role is to assist the financial advisers with their clients to ensure that the advice that they are giving is tailored to each individual based on their requirements.

With a strong foundation in financial services, I assist in preparing reports, conducting product and investment research. In my spare time I like to spend time with my friends and family. I also enjoy going to support and watch my football Tottenham Hotspur.

What’s your favourite part of your role?

I enjoy using complex financial strategies into clear, actionable plans for the clients. I enjoy taking all the available information regarding the client’s financial situation and collating this information so the advisers can present this confidently.

What areas of expertise do you focus on?

I focus on retirement and pension planning, investment portfolio analysis, cashflow modelling, and tax efficiency strategies. I also spend time on technical research, keeping up to date with regulatory changes, product developments, and market trends so the advice we give is both compliant and forward-looking.

What are the most common questions or challenges you help solve?

A challenge that I face in my role is having different scenarios and ensuring that all the potential solutions for the client are presented to them so we can give them the best outcome.
